The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel?s physical assets, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems operate efficiently and safely. This role ensures guest comfort and satisfaction through prompt maintenance service, preventive care, and attention to detail in all areas of the property.

Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior facilities.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders reported by guests or hotel staff.
Maintain and repair electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, lighting, and mechanical equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment according to the established schedule.
Assist with maintenance of swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and laundry systems (if applicable).
Monitor energy consumption and assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, including fire safety systems and emergency procedures.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment service logs.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or installations are required.
Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Minimum of 2?3 years? experience in facilities or building maintenance (hospitality experience preferred).
