The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and process improvement of mechanical equipment in a manufacturing facility. This is a 2nd shift opportunity Monday through Friday 2 pm - 10 pm, no weekends! Top tier benefit package and air conditioned!
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems on equipment.
Assist with equipment calibrations, systems hardware to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability.
Generate daily work logs to track work orders and status on ongoing projects and repairs.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Skills:
Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming.
5 years of maintenance or equivalent experience ideally in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings, and applied knowledge operating systems up to 3Ph and 480Vac
Ideal Qualification: Journeyman certification, preferably from a field involving electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and abilities to analyze a wide variety of equipment troubleshoot problems and assess maintenance needs.
