Responsibilities:
Identify, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on high speed production equipment.
Align machinery using micrometers, hoists, jacks, and hand tools.
Set up timing for cams, gears, backlash, and bushings.
Inspect, overhaul, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, cylinders and pumps.
Utilize TIG, stick and torch welding to fabricate and repair chutes, conveyors and hoppers.
Set up and operate manual milling machines, drill presses and brake presses to fabricate or modify dies, reels, and custom machine parts.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Understand power transmission, gear ratios, backlash adjustments, precision measurement and fluid power dynamics.
Interpret mechanical schematics, engineering blueprints, OEM manuals and work orders.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
Mechanical aptitude.
