The ideal candidate will have industrial experience, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work flexible hours to provide continuous production support.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of critical production machinery (including welders, robots, and powder coating systems) and facility items to ensure continuous operation. This involves rigorously executing preventive maintenance through extensive industrial cleaning, lubrication, and filtration, as well as performing minor electrical, hydraulic, and compressed air repairs. Furthermore, the technician must complete assigned work orders thoroughly and in a timely manner, operate material handling equipment like scissor lifts, and support lean initiatives.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Candidates given special consideration will have previous industrial environment experience coupled with a good technical, journeyman-like aptitude for maintenance, including handling challenging service calls. Intermediate to advanced welding skills are a significant advantage, demonstrating proficiency with key production tools. Finally, advanced safety training such as forklift and scissor lift certification, along with basic electrical knowledge, is strongly preferred.
