In this role, your primary mission is to transform recently vacated apartments into pristine, fully functional, "move-in ready" homes for our next residents. Responsibilities:
Inspect & Repair: Walk vacant units to identify needed repairs. Fix or replace basic plumbing fixtures, leaky faucets, light switches, ceiling fans, blinds, and drywall.
Appliance Prep: Test all major appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher) to ensure they are working perfectly; perform minor troubleshooting or adjustments as needed.
Carpentry & Locks: Repair or replace doors, cabinets, locks, and latches to ensure the apartment is secure and functional.
Paint & Touch-up: Patch drywall holes, sand, and perform interior painting or touch-up work to make walls look brand new.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Supervisor and cleaning vendors to ensure fast turn times without sacrificing quality.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, general contracting, or a related handy trade is preferred.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Tools: Must possess standard hand tools required for basic maintenance.
Availability: Reliable transportation required; willingness to assist with rotating on-call emergency maintenance is a major plus.

Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stay on your feet for most of the day.
