In this crucial role, you'll ensure that every boat and component meets our rigorous quality standards, contributing directly to the safety and satisfaction of our customers worldwide.
1st shift Mon-Fri 6am-3pm
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming parts and finished boats, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks.
Generate and publish detailed PowerPoint inspection quality reports specifically for our operations in Tunisia, providing critical feedback for continuous improvement.
Lead and actively participate in containment and investigation efforts for outgoing boats, utilizing written checklists, cameras, and electronic devices to pinpoint and address any non-conformances.
Oversee and verify paperwork and work order document procedures to maintain meticulous records and compliance throughout the production process.
Collaborate with the Material Review Board (MRB) team to effectively disposition non-conforming products, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
Document all supplier non-conforming products accurately and comprehensively.
Work closely with our Purchasing department to facilitate the return of non-conforming products to suppliers for credit or replacement.
Ensure all non-conformance incidents are reported and escalated promptly and appropriately.
Report on quality issues, proposed solutions, and relevant data during weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) meetings, contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Proven experience in a quality inspection or quality control role, preferably within a manufacturing or marine environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections.
Proficiency in creating professional quality reports, including using PowerPoint.
Ability to utilize inspection tools and electronic devices effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting.
Experience with non-conformance procedures and material review processes.
A proactive mindset with a commitment to identifying and resolving quality issues.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience (2-4 years preferred) in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control role, ideally within a manufacturing environment; experience in the marine, automotive, or aerospace industry is a significant plus.
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection methodologies.
Proficiency in conducting detailed visual and dimensional inspections of products and components.
Demonstrated ability to create and publish professional quality reports, specifically using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience utilizing various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and electronic devices for data collection and analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D).
Familiarity with Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) processes and Material Review Board (MRB) procedures.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping (e.g., work orders, inspection checklists).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, purchasing, suppliers) and presenting data in KPI meetings.
