Lead the mechanical design of complex products and components using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, translating conceptual requirements into detailed, manufacturable designs.Conduct rigorous engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to validate design integrity, performance, durability, and safety under specified operating conditions.Develop detailed test plans, oversee the construction and testing of prototypes, analyze results, and implement design iterations based on performance data and failure analysis.Collaborate closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure designs are optimized for production processes, quality, and cost-efficiency (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly - DFMA).Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and engineering change orders (ECOs).Work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams (e.g., electrical, quality, R&D) to ensure seamless product integration and launch.Provide timely engineering support to resolve production and field-related mechanical issues, performing root cause analysis to implement long-term corrective actions.

Experience in a relevant industry such as oil & gas, specialized industrial equipment, high-pressure systems, or power generation.Direct experience with common manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, welding, casting) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in mechanical design, product development, or a related engineering role.Advanced proficiency in at least one major commercial CAD software package (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or equivalent).Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, statics/dynamics, and materials science.Demonstrated ability to perform engineering calculations and basic stress/structural analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical report writing, presentations, and team collaboration.
