Responsibilities:

• Scan and organize health information into the Epic system to keep patient charts up to date
• Process and track requests for medical records following HIPAA guidelines
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes for the clinic
• Answer phone calls professionally to help patients and providers with record requests
• Manage the offsite storage and retrieval process for medical charts
• Maintain the security and accuracy of health records for the entire facility

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in health information management or medical records required
• Familiarity with Epic software is required
• Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with care
• Ability to thrive in a professional healthcare environment
