      The Lacquer Spray Machine (L.S.M.) Cleaners are in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of the machines.Responsibilities:Daily machine cleaning: All 12 machines to be done daily. Each machine should take approximately 20 min. All required personal protective equipment to be worn at all times.1.Shut machine down and apply the correct lockout/tagout on both electrical disconnects.2.Remove dirty cardboard chutes and dispose of properly.3.Using a putty knife, scrape off all excess lacquer from the front of the turrets and other main areas of the machine. More specific instructions given during training.4.Using paper towels, wipe down the remaining areas of the turrets, spray gun nozzles, and all other areas as needed.5.Install new cardboard chutes.6.Apply a thin film of the appropriate grease to all areas as directed in training.7.May be required to assist with other miscellaneous tasks in the plant.       Tends machine that performs packaging operation.Responsibilities:?Assemble the dryer.?Starts machine and observe to detect malfunctions.?Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.?Records temperature and airflow settings and product status (moisture, density and size when needed) every half hour on appropriate paperwork.?Collect all appropriate samples as needed.?Packages product appropriately when needed.?Insures that all packaging is labeled and recorded correctly.?Able to correctly shut machine down and disassemble for cleaning.Working hours: 6:00 PM - 5:30 AMSkills:Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
