In this role, you aren't just fixing metal; you're ensuring the reliability of products that patients depend on every single day. We pride ourselves on a clean, climate-controlled environment and a schedule designed to respect your time outside of the plant.
Responsibilities:
-Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair on multi-cavity injection molds.
-Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
-Utilize toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) to fabricate or repair mold components.
-Document all maintenance activities within our digital tracking system to maintain strict healthcare regulatory standards.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
-Education: Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification or AAS in Machining.
-Expertise: Experience with hot runner systems (Husky, Mold-Masters, etc.).
-Industry: Previous experience in a MedTech or ISO 13485 regulated environment.
-Welding: Proficiency in TIG or Laser welding for tool repair.

-Experience: 3+ years in mold repair or tool & die maintenance.
-Technical: Proficiency with manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
-Precision: Ability to read complex blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
-Mindset: Strong mechanical aptitude and a "safety-first" mentality.
