The following is a direct hire position with our client.Responsibilities:?Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and implementation of ergonomic, environmental and health and safety procedures and programs for the facility. Also responsible for maintaining compliance to all local, state and corporate H&S guidelines and best practices.?Conduct job based physical demand evaluations and job safety analysis to determine safety and ergonomic risks.?Development and implementation of safety and ergonomic teams as well as emergency coordinators?Development and implementation of safety procedures and programs at the divisions?Provide instruction on the above mentioned program.?Develop and maintain a communication amongst the emergency services in the community?Assist with all accident investigations including near miss and property damage investigations, as needed?Complete the OSHA 300 log as required?Act as environmental management rep. for ISO 14001?Stay knowledgeable and up to date with regulations that affect the divisions?Form R reporting duties annually?Manage the environmental and H&S auditsWorking hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and be able to take direction from all levelsMust have extensive knowledge of the OSHA and state OSHA regulatory complianceExcellent communication skills to all team members and roles in the facilityExcellent computer skills are required, with an average of 35 WPM typing skills (test will be provided). Proficiency in Excel, Word, Plexus and using the Outlook Calendar (scheduling meetings) is a mustEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Technical Training Preferred: First Aid Certification, Fork Lift License, OSHA certificationHigh school diploma or GED required.
