Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
Materials Handling: Execute the safe loading, unloading, and staging of freight using sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck equipment.
Inventory Integrity: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology to ensure real-time data accuracy for all stock movements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, and labeling errors.
Facility Optimization: Proactively manage floor space and pallet organization to maximize throughput and minimize operational bottlenecks.
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to OSHA standards and internal safety protocols, including documented pre-shift equipment inspections.

Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Valid Forklift Operator Certification required; minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or manufacturing environment.
Operational Stamina: Proven ability to maintain high productivity levels throughout an overnight shift and perform manual lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required.
Precision: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on SKU accuracy and documentation.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with dispatchers, yard spotters, and shift supervisors.
