Pay Rate: $18 per hour.
Schedule: Weekdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Punctuality: We value your time and our customers' time; arriving early is considered "on time" for this role.
As a Parts Associate, you will handle the day-to-day operations of the sales counter with efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers at the counter in a timely, professional manner and answering phone inquiries.
- Assisting customers in finding the right products for their specific needs, providing accurate quotes, and completing sales tickets.
- Maintaining existing customer connections while developing relationships with new clients through follow-up calls regarding orders, sales, and special events.
- Tracking and picking orders, maintaining the department's visual standards, and ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Continuously developing a deep knowledge of equipment, warranties, and both OEM and aftermarket brands.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Prior experience with OEM and aftermarket parts or mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in managing sales tickets, tracking inventory, and generating professional quotes.
- Experience in retail or counter sales with a focus on relationship management.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and parts, occasionally weighing 50 lbs. or more.
- Great interpersonal skills for in-person and over-the-phone customer service.
- A strict commitment to punctuality and a professional work ethic.
