Spherion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join a local Fargo team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. The Payroll Specialist will provide payroll support and additional accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
-Payroll experience
-Process up 200 employees
-Enter new hires, required paperwork
-Time and attendance verification and processing
-Process direct payments to employees
-Data entry of union dues, quarterlies
-Assist and work closely with the AR department for billings and assist Project Managers and Job Forman
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Associate's Degree in related field a plus
-Experience with union dues, contracts, and compliance a plus
-Jonas Software, Microsoft Office Products, Bluebeam
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-1-3 years minimum experience in Payroll processing
-High School Diploma or GED required
