Are you a payroll pro who loves the "why" behind the numbers? We are looking for a high-impact Payroll Specialist to serve as the heartbeat of our financial operations. Managing a dynamic workforce of 900+ team members, you won't just be pushing buttons.
Responsibilities:

- Full-Cycle Processing: Execute bi-weekly, quarterly bonus, and off-cycle payrolls for 900+ employees using ADP (or similar software).
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP, DOL regulations, and federal/state/local tax laws. Facilitate financial and 403(b) audits and manage W-2 reviews.
- Data Management: Verify timekeeping records, calculate retro-pay, and manage complex deductions including HSA contributions, benefits, and garnishments.
- Reporting & Finance: Reconcile payroll tax reports and provide monthly subledgers to the accounting team to support General Ledger imports.
- Special Payments: Process mileage reimbursements, tuition assistance, and loan payments.
- Team Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies quickly.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Certified Payroll Professional Certification strongly preferred.

7-10 years
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: 6???10 years of full-cycle payroll experience in a large-company environment.
- Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience with large-scale payroll software (ADP preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Audit Exposure: Direct experience participating in financial and 403(b) audits.
