Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and maintain payroll data across multiple internal systems
Prepare and submit payroll reports through government portals for city and county projects
Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and applicable labor regulations
Coordinate with internal teams to complete reporting following payroll processing cycles
Maintain organized documentation within shared drives and electronic filing systems
Manage high-volume data entry during peak reporting periods while meeting deadlines
Utilize DIR systems and other regulatory platforms as required
Collaborate with team members while independently managing assigned workload
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in a union environment
Previous contract or project-based work experience
Exposure to certified payroll processes or prevailing wage compliance
Education:
No Degree Required

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Prior payroll experience or exposure required
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Ability to navigate multiple systems, databases, and web-based portals simultaneously
Experience working with PDF documents and shared electronic files
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective verbal communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
