Job Description:

The Process Technician – Plastic Injection Molding is responsible for overseeing and operating injection molding equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role requires hands-on technical expertise as well as proven supervisory experience to support daily operations, guide team members, and maintain production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set and change molds using forklifts; perform machine start-ups and troubleshoot injection molding processes related to equipment and raw materials.
• Supervise and support molding operators, providing guidance, training, and direction to ensure proper procedures and productivity standards are met.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of auxiliary equipment, including temperature controllers, pumps, hopper loaders, and tank systems.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and process parameters to optimize efficiency, quality, and cycle times.
• Create and maintain reports on molding processes and production output to support traceability and ensure consistent reproducibility.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machinery and process issues; document and report mold and equipment-related problems.
• Assist in enforcing safety, quality, and production standards across the molding department.
• Control and manage plastic raw material inventory.
• Perform additional related duties as required to support factory operations.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months

• Minimum of 2+ years of Injection Molding Processor experience, including prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or molding environment.
• Strong knowledge of injection molds and molding processes.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Quality inspection experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills.
