Plumber positions and dock installers are HEAVY travel (Valid DL is required). The first thing we will discuss with them in the interview will be their willingness to be on the road 3-4 weeks a month ? potentially longer depending on location. If they are working in Florida and live in Florida, they are welcome to travel home on weekends (unpaid unless it is their authorized week/vacation) when work is light; does not need to be Jax-based but prefer FL-based. Strong swimming skills are highly recommended. Bellingham pays travel reimbursement to include per diem, hotel and mileage. (Lead $25-20/hour; helper $18-20/hour)

Responsibilities:
- Marking and cutting openings in walls, floors, and floating docks to accommodate pipes and connections.
- Cutting, threading, and assembling various metal and nonmetal pipes, including fusing HDPE and making Pex Piping connections.
- Assembling and installing valves, pipe fittings, sinks, water heaters, and specialized marine equipment.
- Testing pipe systems with water or air pressure gauges to successfully locate and patch leaks.
- Maintaining standard plumbing fixtures and mending burst pipes to keep projects running safely and smoothly.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience/training.
- Ability to easily read and interpret simple blueprints, building plans, and safety instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and basic rate computations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a highly collaborative team spirit.

Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License and an exceptionally reliable commitment to the work schedule.
- Comfortability around marine environments, including the ability to swim and work over the water.
- Flexibility to travel up to 100% of the time to changing jobsites as requested.
- Physical stamina to stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and complete a standard background check.
