Responsibilities:
Populate printed circuit boards with electronic components using automated and manual processes.
Perform high-precision hand soldering for through-hole and fine-pitch Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components.
Read assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and schematics to verify correct component orientation.
Inspect completed assemblies under magnification against industry quality standards (IPC-A-610) and perform rework as needed.
Log production data in the internal system while maintaining soldering tools and equipment.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Exceptional manual dexterity, a steady hand, and sharp visual acuity for micro-component work.
Ability to comfortably use magnification tools and microscopes for extended periods.
Strong component identification skills, including color codes and polarity markers.
Solid technical reading skills to interpret mechanical assembly drawings and step-by-step routing sheets.
Qualifications:
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly and manual SMT/through-hole soldering.
Ability to sit or stand at an assembly station for up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
Active or prior IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 soldering certifications are preferred.
