Our East side client is looking for a new member of their operations team! Spherion is currently recruiting for Print Operators to work for our Print and Mail Production Center of the State of WI Division of Enterprise Technology. Responsibilities:
- Operate high speed digital and ink-jet printers.
- Manage print queues and perform Operator functions print production system.
- Read and understand print job requirements and complete jobs per customer specifications.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with jobs and/or equipment.
- Work with Supervisor and/or Lead to determine print production priorities.
- Perform quality checks of printed material.
- Call out equipment for service as needed and report any machine issues to Supervisor/Lead.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Background in production or operations preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent problem solving skill
- A strong work ethic and highly self-motivated
- Basic math and computer skills
