Job Description:

The production associate is responsible for following procedures for product manufacturing, equipment operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company’s quality system.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to handle the physical activities of the job, including lifting and stacking up to 50 pound bags, packing and moving drums and other containerized materials.
• Read and follow written instructions.
• Abide by the safety rules of the plant.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
• Operate forklifts in a safe manner, as needed.
• Organize the production area to maintain the quality of the product and condition of the packaging.
• Move materials from storage to production, and from production to storage as needed.
• Operate Pack Out machines and identify material as directed in the production control plan.
• Pull samples as directed in the production control plan.
