The Production paint Assistant candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, equipment maintenance, quality control, material management, safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
??? Hang parts properly on paint line.
??? Visually inspect in process and finished parts for weld and paint defects. Disposition as needed.

??? Prepare parts for paint by sanding, sandblasting, pressure washing, masking or wiping down as directed.
??? Perform light touch up on parts as directed.
??? Perform light assembly work on parts as directed.
??? Properly identify and tag completed parts.
??? Report completed work in ERP system.
??? Remove painted parts from paint line and prepare for movement to warehouse.
??? Operate forklifts, hand pallet trucks, hoists, overhead cranes as needed.
??? Candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the paint system and work area.
??? Candidate will assist as needed in all areas of the paint line operation.
Working hours: 3:25 PM - 1:00 AM

Basic Qualifications
??? Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
??? Ability to adapt to a wide variety of job assignments each day.
??? Candidate must be able to perform strenuous, repetitive work.
??? Candidate must be able to work while wearing a respirator and protective clothing.
??? Candidate must pass Pulmonary Function Test and Respirator Fit Test.
??? Candidate must be able to follow oral and written instructions and be a self-starter.
??? Must be able to work within the ERP system.
Other Qualifications
??? High School Diploma or GED
??? 6 months experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment
