This is not a desk job. You will be right on the shop floor, working directly alongside assemblers to catch and correct mistakes in real time. Because implementing this role is vital to production and drastically reduces errors, it requires someone with firm boundaries, high resilience, and excellent diplomatic skills. You must be entirely comfortable delivering direct, constructive feedback, holding team members accountable to specifications, and maintaining a calm, objective demeanor under pressure.

What You'll Do:
- Inspect assembled products on the production floor to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications before moving to the next stage of production
- Identify quality concerns, assembly errors, or deviations from specifications and work directly with production employees to resolve issues in real time
- Verify product dimensions and specifications using measuring tools, gauges, and hand tools
- Complete quality documentation and communicate findings to production leadership
- Help reinforce quality standards by providing respectful, constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement
- Maintain company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
- Follow all corporate, plant, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Assist other departments as needed to support production goals
What You'll Bring:
- Previous manufacturing, quality assurance, or quality inspection experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and maintain high quality standards
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally while providing constructive feedback to production team members
- Basic math skills and experience using measuring devices and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and understand product specifications preferred
- Overhead crane experience is a plus
- Dependable, adaptable, and committed to workplace safety and continuous improvement
