Your Mission (If You Choose to Accept It):
As a Quality Inspector, you are the final line of defense. You'll ensure that every automotive part, appliance component, and construction material leaving the facility is nothing short of flawless. You will:
Perform visual and physical inspections of plastic/vinyl products.
Identify and document defects before they reach the customer.
Collaborate with production teams to maintain high-efficiency standards.
Choose Your Schedule:
We are currently filling spots for our afternoon and overnight squads:
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Perfect for those who hate morning alarms!)
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Maximize your daylight hours and earn that night-owl premium.)
Responsibilities:
* Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Read blueprints and specifications for compliance
* Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures, etc.)
* Identify and remove defective products while making process improvement recommendations
* Work alongside production teams to maintain high-quality output
* Keep a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications.
Advanced proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Experience with defect tracking and quality documentation.
Knowledge of ISO standards and other quality control procedures.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Experience with automation and production line inspection.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Ability to add and substract fractions. Will need to complete a test measuring 32nds of an inch and 16ths of an inch, and 1/8ths of an inch
Experience using calipers, gauges, rulers, tape measures, and other precision measurement tools.
Ability to perform tests and accurately read a ruler.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow written instructions, schedules, and specifications.
Ability to understand and visually detect defects in the production process.
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
