What You'll Do
As a Production Supervisor, you will blend administrative management with hands-on technical leadership on the shop floor.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate, train, and motivate team members to meet production targets while maintaining a time-sensitive workflow.
- Maintain a deep understanding of machine functions and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Work as a team to assemble or dismantle specialized molds and utilize overhead cranes and rigging for mold changes.
- Use quality feedback from inspection teams to reduce scrap, improve productivity, and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize digital platforms (such as SAP or Kronos) to track employee attendance, hours worked, and production efficiencies.
- Maintain 6S requirements and document all shift actions, irregularities, and maintenance needs to ensure seamless shift transitions.

What You'll Need
- Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Experience in plastics or rotational molding is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) and measurement devices; proficiency with forklifts is expected.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor and develop direct reports.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent stooping, bending, and reaching.
- Aptitude: Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a continuous pace in a lean manufacturing environment.
