Responsibilities:
Daily Plan Execution: Coordinate and plan daily warehouse production, shipping, and receiving activities to hit critical unit metrics and distribution scorecard targets.
Team Leadership: Determine daily job assignments, supervise warehouse team members, and manage labor allocation to optimize throughput and efficiency.
Talent Development: Interview, onboard, and train new personnel. Actively mentor high-potential team members to build a strong leadership succession bench.
Performance Management: Foster positive working relationships, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver real-time coaching, retraining, or disciplinary action when necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current layout and warehouse workflows to identify bottleneck areas, providing data-backed recommendations to upper management.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce a strict "200% safety accountability" environment (looking out for yourself and others), ensuring complete compliance with standard operating procedures and sanitation guidelines.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related manufacturing field.
Prior experience working within a unionized warehouse environment and properly interpreting collective bargaining agreements.
Familiarity with automated material handling systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), or specialized production scanning tech.
Certifications or formal training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or OSHA warehouse safety standards.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
3+ years of direct leadership, operations management, or supervisory experience within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse distribution center environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and handle employee relations effectively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard inventory or production management software.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-based metrics to drive operational improvements.
Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends or extended hours as dictated by business volume and peak delivery periods.
