- Receive visitors in person and respond to inquiries by telephone, email, and chat to assist with applicants, enrollment, testing, and registration processes or other specific support services regarding Admissions, Records, and Financial Aid.- Provide technical support for encountering registration issues.- Provide immediate information and updates regarding inquiries about events and processes.- Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including data entry and the drafting, editing, and revision of letters, reports, and other materials. Establish, maintain, process, and/or update files, records, and/or other documents.- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement; present a professional image in word, action, and attire.- Submit work orders for the maintenance of exterior, classrooms, and communal spaces in the assigned area.- Provide support for Blount Center operations; such as greeting visitors, answering phone calls, resolving issues based on established college policies and departmental practices, while making appropriate referrals as necessary.- Distribute correspondence and other materials to department staff and faculty.- Communicate, collaborate, and maintain relationships with internal and external community constituents.- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School/ GED- Written and verbal communication skills; professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful in manner using the preferred method applicable to the task.- Good time management and organizational skills; able to plan, schedule, organize, and follow up on tasks related to the job to achieve goals within or ahead of established time frames.- Highly motivated team player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization.- Ability to provide a high level of interactive service to others, building relationships and addressing identified needs.- Proficient level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or relevant position software programs.- Ability to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions.
