Responsibilities:
Repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment
Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment
Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
Read and understand an IOM and BOM
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
industrial or mechanical education is a plus but not required
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Good mechanical aptitude required
Experience working with rotating equipment a plus
Applicant must be customer driven
Be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Must have positive "can-do" attitude
Have the ability or learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals and possess ability to work with basic math
Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures and regulations
Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision
A background, physical, lift assessment and drug screening is required
