We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and operations-focused Purchasing Coordinator / MRO Buyer to manage maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) inventory. In this role, you will play a critical part in minimizing production interruptions by maintaining stock levels, tracking expedited orders, and building solid supplier relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strong sense of urgency, and leverages analytical skills in Excel to drive cost-conscious purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities:
MRO & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and reorder points for machinery, tools, and maintenance supplies to prevent downtime.

Order Expediting & Tracking: Process purchase orders promptly, follow up on shipments, and aggressively resolve transit delays to keep operations running smoothly.

Supplier Relationship Management: Liaise with vendors to negotiate pricing, confirm lead times, and evaluate supplier reliability and performance.

Operations Support: Partner with maintenance and production teams to identify machine repair parts and source exact or substitute components quickly.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize spreadsheet tools to analyze inventory trends, track procurement costs, and support data-driven decision-making.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Technical Familiarity: Prior experience or familiarity with machine repair parts, industrial components, or MRO supplies.

Operations Focus: Understanding of manufacturing or plant environments and how procurement directly impacts daily production.

Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to use data to optimize stock levels and streamline purchasing workflows.

Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables to manage and analyze purchasing data.
