In this dual-focus role, you will act as the "engine" of the office-bridging the gap between supply chain logistics and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring production has the materials it needs while serving as the reliable voice our customers hear when they have questions.
- Primary Focus (Purchasing): You own the inventory. You will ensure the right materials are on hand, at the right price, and at the right time.
- Secondary Focus (Customer Service): When you aren't managing vendors or spreadsheets, you are the friendly face of the company, assisting clients with orders and inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels proactively and place vendor orders to ensure production never hits a snag.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain excellent ties with current suppliers and research new partners to secure the best pricing and highest quality materials.
- Logistics Management: Track open purchase orders, hunt down shipping updates, and resolve any delivery discrepancies immediately.
- Customer Support: Handle incoming calls and emails regarding order status, product specs, and returns with professional warmth.
- Agile Problem Solving: Manage "hiccups"???like backorders or shipping delays???with a calm, professional demeanor and a focus on solutions.
