Benefits and profit sharing are available after hire!Responsibilities:Removing sheet metal from the laser deck after it has been burned/ cut/ processed.Removing various part components from the metal sheet and separating them based on type.Disposing of the scrap remnants of the burned metal sheet into a scrap hopper for recycling, to be taken to a scrap yard.Grinding edges of metal smooth with use of various grinders or hand tools.Operating a drill press as needed to process the metal parts.Hanging parts on the paint line with hooks as directed; Parts may range from 0-50Lbs and occasionally involve a team lift.Removing parts from the paint line and stacking carefully by different parts groups to avoid damage to the paint.Assembly of components into finished products ranging from lab tables, distribution stations, etc. Assembly may including wiring or electrical components.Carefully inspecting the components as they are assembled for relevant defects and to ensure they are the correct components needed for the job.Palletizing and completing table orders and wrapping them prior to moving them to the staging area for shipmentAfter more seniority, an Assembly Worker may also work inside the paint booth with a paint gun to apply powder-coating material as the parts move through the paint line process.
