      Spherion is actively looking for a temporary Administrative Assistant to join the team of our managed care organization client! This position will provide support for various departments in administrative and clerical tasks. If you are passionate about making a difference in the Madison community and have excellent people skills, please apply today!Responsibilities:- Provide clerical support as required by the Office Manager, which may include providing support for various departments- Sorts and distributes incoming mail- Prepare outgoing mail via mail postage meter machine or mailing service- Assists with mailing projects. Managing and cleaning address lists, creating labels, folding and stuffing envelopes- Monitors assigned GSR email inboxes and forward information to appropriate recipients- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. Prepare and edit various documents as needed- Perform accurate data entry of information in MIDAS system, spreadsheets, and various documents- Assist in maintaining proper inventory of office supplies at assigned GSR offices- Assist with managing and tracking inventory of printed materials at assigned GSR offices- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors & guests- Work collaboratively with Administrative Assistants in all GSR offices to balance workloads and provide backup support- Adhere to and maintain office policies and procedures- Maintain appropriate confidentiality of information processed and follows company policies and procedures- Maintain and uphold confidentiality at all times and follow proper procedures and protocols in handling PHI and other sensitive information- Perform other duties as assignedWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various projects- Experience using office equipment to photocopy, scan, fax, email- Ability to operate multi-line phone system to answer and direct phone calls- Accurate data entry and keyboarding skills (minimum 40 wpm) preferred- Ability to function independently with minimal supervision on a variety of tasks- Ability to maintain a friendly customer-oriented approach when dealing with the public and staff- Ability to review information- Ability to adhere to County, State, and Federal guidelines, policies, and proceduresEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High school diploma or GED with a combination of at least 2 years of related office experience.
