      This position is responsible for evaluating customer requests for custom design of hydraulic systems and components from circuit drawings, manufacturer's specifications, machine specifications, and specific customer machine performance requirements.The Sales Coordinator applies extensive knowledge of over 25 different product brand names consisting of thousands of various designs and models of hydraulic components.The Sales Coordinator is responsible for quoting customer requirements, processing sales orders, and researching technical aspects of the product for customers. This position handles returns and procures required parts for sales orders and production orders.Responsibilities:1. Designs, composes bill of materials and prepares specifications for hydraulic systems and components.2. Assigns assembly number to components .3. Responsible for overseeing the installation of new or replacement application in the company database.4. Processes and provides quotes to existing and new customers.5. Assists customers with inquiries, quotes and orders for parts, units and service.6. Provides technical support to customers regarding hydraulic system performance issues.7. Creates the initial RMA for returned products.8. Inspects returned cores to ensure the correct core is returned and makes note of any discrepancies.9. Creates excel assembly sheet with a bill of materials listing and provides to Pricing Director.10. Provides non-proprietary information to customers upon request, such as; catalogs, performance information, parts drawings, etc.11. Attends sales calls and meetings, trade shows and vendor training seminars as required.12. Processes cash transactions from Counter Sales.13. Obtains credit card information for credit card sales.14. Assists with locating late or missing shipments.15. Reviews late sales and purchase order reports daily to determine any cause of delay. 16. Informs customers of delays and expedites when possible.17. Processes work orders/ repair orders as necessary to back-up Service Coordinator.18. Communicates problems and progress with President/Sales Manager.19. Responds to change productively and handles other essential duties as required or assigned.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Must possess ability to understand the hydraulics business operations and procedures.Must be proficient in use of, Email and MS Office applications -Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.Must have a high level of interpersonal skills.Maintains a high level of professionalism.Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.Must possess excellent writing, editing skills, and communication skills.Must have the ability to interface with employees and management at various levels within organization.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: Minimum five years hydraulic processing and service-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Specialized training in Fluid Power TechnologyLicense/Certification(s): Manufacturer specialized certification, Certified Fluid Power SpecialistAnalytical: Must be able to synthesize complex or diverse information. Must possess logical and deductive reasoning skills.Problem Solving: Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather, prepare and analyze complex information and reports.Quality Management: Must be able to look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.Communication Skills: Must be able to read and write well enough to communicate effectively with all persons concerned or related to the business.
