The primary purpose of the Calibration Specialist is to support the equipment calibration programs within company and regulatory guidelines in accordance with manufacturer requirements.Responsibilities:*Document, review, and audit calibration.*Repair as needed laboratory equipment.*Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules.*Complete all work in accordance with cGMP and GLP requirements.*Maintains service records.*Archive records*Assists in the installation, operation, and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of laboratory instruments.*Report instrument-related issues to the manager.*Perform corrective actions.*Arranges for vendor service and ordering certified standards or parts.*Research options on prices and availability of parts.*Develop new and revolutionary techniques that meet user community and lab needs.*Participates in writing SOPs, protocols, and instrument validation plans.*Support the transfer and implementation of equipment* Familiar with HPLC, UPLC, UV/Vis, GC, dissolution, FTIR, particle size analyzers.*Participate in primary maintenance and care of various instruments.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:* cGMP and GLP expert.* Expert at installation, operation, and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of laboratory instruments.* Expert with documentation.* Expert with lab and equipment in a biology lab setting.Education:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:*Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University*3-5 years relative experience www.spherion.com/applySpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
