      The Operations Assistant is to provide support for the daily operation of the site,primarily focused on responsibilities for the site around purchasing, invoicemanagement, document management and reception duties.Responsibilities:???Supports and manage the purchase of supplies, services, and consumables in accordance with purchasing and financial guidelines.???Provides the verification of proper receipt of materials and proper transactions in the SAP system.???Invoice approval ??? Clearing VIM, working with vendors to process/unblock invoices.???Maintain switchboard???Maintain files???Have regular contact with vendors/suppliers to process invoices to ensure conformance to contract terms and conditions.???Supports Maintenance/Capex activities, Service PO???s, etc. Helps track project PO???s, project purchases.???Supports the Logistics group; responsible for carrier check-in.???Overall site administrative support ??? arrange appointments, answer phones, collecting and distributing internal and external office information to all site employees, assists with safety training for all visitors, contractors, and vendors.???Handle incoming and outgoing mail/correspondence as well as mass mailings and shipping sample requests.???Manage documents, contracts and agreements per company policy.???Provide customer and visitor support by organizing travel, accommodations and transportation. Also, any other hospitality arrangements i.e., refreshments.???Organize and attend regular company meetings, take minutes of meeting and distributeWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:SAP experienceAdministrative experience--Effective communicator with all levels of the organization (employees, managers, contractors) and able to work in a team-oriented environment--Computer skills (i.e. spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, SAP system) --Work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, decimals, and percentages and to apply the results to plant operations. Must be able to work with metric system measurements and conversions.--Capability to work in a chemical manufacturing setting, work in/outdoors, various noise environments, and lift up to 25 lbs.Education:High SchoolExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:???High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years post-secondary/military education (technical area preferred); or three (3) or more years??? experience in the Chemical Industry ???Execute necessary actions in SAP and SAP related systems (Ariba)???Follow-up with contacts on invoices that need attention???Sustain inventories of NPR materials and supplies through purchasing???Manage facility services (Janitorial, Cintas, drink related services, iLobby, instant trace)???Execute tasks related to reception (visitors, contractors, iLobby, Fedex)???Maintain files and documentation???Any and all other duties, as assigned This is a great opportunity to work for a company.
