GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION The Validation Associate I will be responsible for performing calibrations, validations and the monitoring of Controlled Temperature Units (CTUS) and other equipment. It is critical for this role to comply will all GXP policies and procedures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Support receiving and qualification of new equipment, calibrations, instruments, including computer systems Execute installation, operational and performance qualification protocols for temperature units Use Kaye Validators and/or data loggers for temperature mapping of controlled storage units Assist with writing, revising, approving standard operating procedures Identify and implement process improvements through change control, ions of non-conforming equipment, processes, etc., and documentation (logbooks, protocols, etc.) Assist in the development of a process validation program Calibrate sensors and temperature-controlled unit displays, amongst other pieces of equipment Perform Alarm Testing of various monitoring system sensors Work effectively with cross-functional departments as necessary to resolve issues Perform other duties as requested SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE ABILITIES Ability to handle and work with light hand tools Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work on equipment, which can require bending, kneeling, sitting or standing for long periods of time Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and prioritize effectively Good writing skills Experience in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and in a group on a variety of projects, in an active office or warehouse setting EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalentResponsibilities:.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:. 301-694-7700Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
