As you will work directly with retirees, members, and employers, we are seeking a customer service-orientated individual with experience communicating technical information over the phone, face-to-face, and in writing!Responsibilities:- Research, answer, and resolve complicated questions and problems relating to the client's benefits and retirement programs- Thoroughly and clearly explain available benefits programs, options, eligibility requirements, and application deadlines to participating employers or members- Monitor and update changes to health insurance benefits, assist employers with benefits adjustments, and adjust members' monthly payments as needed- Develop, interpret, and apply in-depth knowledge of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Codes relating to the benefits administered by our clientWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Ability to analyze records to determine eligibility for benefits- Ability to understand and communicate complex information- Ability to calculate estimated and final benefit amounts- Ability to obtain relevant information without disclosing confidential information- Ability to apply state and federal tax laws and regulations pertaining to available benefits- Ability to interact positively with a variety of persons at different levels within and outside the organization- Ability to use complex and sophisticated personal computer-based software systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows applications such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.)- Ability to use complex case management, customer relationship management, and benefits processing softwareEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High school diploma or GED required- Previous customer service experience preferred- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills required- Excellent attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met- Good phone presence Apply via the apply button in the top right hand corner today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
