The Float Scheduling/Registration Representative provides coverage in internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and physical therapy; and acts as switchboard operator, patient services representative, abstractor, and medical records clerk as assigned. This position greets patients, answers the telephone or switchboard, schedules appointments, registers patients, verifies and updates demographic and insurance information, prepares charts, pulls and files medical records, and performs other general clerical duties.Responsibilities:- Build and maintain provider schedules.
