If you have excellent technical support skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this is the position for you!This contract is confirmed through 6/30/22 with likely extension/permanent hire.Responsibilities:- Inbound calls from the client service queue for field reporting status or requesting direction- Outbound calling to field technical staff or partners to gather status or provide direction when the scope of issue has created a scenario that requires immediate and repeated contact- Ensure that the field technical staff or partners time spent on-site is utilized in the most efficient fashion possible- Document the status of progress and provide direction as needed to technical staff or partners in the field performing work on service requests- Ensure all necessary onsite arrangements or customer provided and/or shipped equipment have been made prior to the scheduling of technicians- Enter updates in customer databases per established client best practices and (or) customer requirements- Closeout completed service requests in client internal and/or customer database- Outbound calling to dispatched technicians to gather status on service requests in which the ETA or anticipated completion time requirement has been exceeded- Inbound call reception and issue-based call sorting for field technicians use on-site at customer locations for service requestsWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization- Proven ability to effectively work in a team-oriented, non-confrontational environment, with customers and all other departmentsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High School Diploma or GED required- Strong technical support skills required- Basic computer proficiency- Experience directly scheduling or fulfilling a service-related field technician role that involved interaction with customer employees on location Apply via the apply button in the top right hand corner today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
