      It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Worker to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues for various manufacturing machinery.Responsibilities:- Monitors the preventative and corrective maintenance needs of various equipment types- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service- Completes all work orders including preventive maintenance work- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production- Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines- Repairs and replaces wiring, equipment and fixtures using various hand and power tools- Performs troubleshooting on down equipment and maximize run time- Communicates with the Maintenance Team Members, Maintenance Supervisor and/or Corporate Engineer to troubleshoot more complex issues and make recommendations for improvement- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies and maintain superior plant cleanliness- Adheres to all safety practices including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)- Follows all established company policies and practicesThe essential functions listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
