      Immediate opening for a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for making precision-machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Machine per work instructions and blueprints. Parts are typically made from aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel.Responsibilities:-Run and inspect first article; verifying by use of precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, plug gauges, height gauges, dial indicators, protractors, etc. -Run promotion volumes while managing machine operation to detect defects or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls as required. -Produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards. -Program revisions should be authorized by the shop supervisor and should be documented prior to release of the print to the production floor. -Participate in preventative maintenance.-other duties as assigned.Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMSkills:-General knowledge of G-Code, blueprint reading and inspection tools. -Capable of using a forklift after trained and certified. -Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. -Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion. -Great work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety preferred.Education:TradeExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-2 years experience in operation and setup for Vertical Mill, Horizontal Mill and/or lathe experience. -Knowledge of G-Code and blueprint reading. -Experience in operation and setup for Vertical Mill, Horizontal Mill and/or lathe required. -Must submit to background check and drug screen. -High School Diploma or equivalent required.
