      Spherion is currently seeking to fill a temp to PERMANENT Assembly Operator Position for our Local Award-Winning Aluminum Fence Manufacturing Company!!Employees will be performing repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations to mass produce aluminum fencing components or parts. Employees will also be responsible for performing tasks necessary to the overall production process. Assemblers will aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of products and parts as necessary.Responsibilities:-Assemble aluminum fencing by performing repetitive assembly operations.-Must have the ability to learn and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products/parts being produced.-Determine assembly sequence, assembly bench requirements, measurements, and tolerances by interpreting work orders, verbal direction, or other specifications. -Inspect and verify accuracy of assembled product for conformance to standards by physical or visual examination.-Determine product completion by counting finished product, including damaged products that have been repaired to specification.-Record number of products assembled.-Communicate status of production to Production Supervisor. -Screw, or otherwise fasten components together by use of power tools. -Prepare jobs for change in order.-Provide direction to material handlers by directing them in positioning of parts.-Assist other teams in different work areas as determined by Production Supervisor. -Maintain assembly requirements by filling screw hoppers, etc.-Adjust, repair, or replace defective product parts by using hand and power tools.-Clean dust, dirt, and other foreign matter from area maintaining a clean workspace. -Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:--Ability to read and interpret tape measure. --Pay close attention to detail and quality.--Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast paced environment--Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time 8+ hours and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly--Work in a team environment--Willingness to learn and be part of an awesome team*MUST be willing to submit to and pass background screening and drug test!Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:-Requires 0-2 years of manufacturing experience (WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON!!)-Basic reading and math skills.
