      We are seeking someone to become part of our Manufacturing Engineering team, a dynamic group of individuals with diverse strengths working together to continuously deliver solutions to meet the needs of our production customers. We seek passionate people with a positive mental attitude who can interact with ease within and outside our team to develop and deliver win-win solutions.Responsibilities:- Facilitate the development of the CI Roadmap for the production floor with Operations Leadership Team- Facilitate and lead activities such as process mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, events to the transition from Current State to Future State.- Facilitate, and follow through on A3 and kaizen blitz events, track completion of action items and KPI performance from these activities- Oversee the creation and maintenance of standard work created from Kaizens/A3s- Develop, implement and audit Gemba boards, making changes/improvements as needed- Mentor production supervisors and production leads on correct Gemba board usage and problem solving- Conduct time studies, develop and document work standards, and maximize line balancing to optimize workflow and drive throughput and productivity improvements- Identify opportunities such as restructuring work content, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment to optimize the testing and launch operations process.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience- 4 years of industry experience in an engineering or production field with at least 2 years of experience deploying lean/continuous improvement in manufacturing- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or other engineered products or with another regulated industry- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Self-starter with high sense of responsibility- Creates positive energy among team- Comfortable and effective with both one-on-one coaching and team facilitationEducation:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:2 years of deployment of lean and continuous improvement on a manufacturing floor required.5S, Kaizen and A3 experience required.Help the site develop their long-term CI roadmap and execute the transformation from Current State to Future State.Coach and develop the team to create standard work, understand line balance, workspace layout for flow and deploy 5S while maintaining compliance to ISO and FDA requirements.
