      We are looking for forklift drivers, but not just any forklift drivers. Safe, responsible folks with a proven attendance record and good communication -- if this is you, then we want to speak with you about this long-term, temp-to-hire forklift position. Our office is looking for a forklift operator who is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products within establishments by performing the following duties The NIGHT shift will be working 6:00PM-6:30AM. This shift will be working on a rotating basis and therefore will not be on the same days every week and will required you to work every other weekend.Responsibilities:Safety:Adhere to all safety policies and proceduresSafely operate fork truck to pick up, transport and stack palletsMaintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse workplacePerform safety checks as neededQuality:Demonstrate a thorough understanding of electronic inventory tracking system (InnaTrack)Understand and comprehend materials release logs and job pick sheetsDeliver correct product to production floorPerform quality checks as neededInventory/Warehouse:Execute and maintain effective warehouse layout and organizationMonitor inventory and recommend action for non-usable, slow moving and excess stockOperate pallet jack and electric pallet wrapperLabel finished goods with accuracyVerify accurate inventory counts of raw materials and finished goodsWorking hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AMSkills:Maintain a high level of personal responsibility and ownershipMaintain a strong commitment to teamwork and concern for othersReliable and able to work within a team in fast paced environmentTrain, assist and lead employees (new and current) for development in required operational skillsMust be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal and written formMust be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules using EnglishAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common internal reports and supporting documentsThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and repetitive use of arms, hands, back and legs to unload and load productEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)6 months of Forklift Operating Experience required APPLY TODAY!!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
