      Will be responsible for all the quality aspects of the welding and fabrication department. Must be able to provide welding experience and training when needed to the staff. Will need to be able to work with both the engineering department and the production department at all levels.Responsibilities:Manage all Quality Aspects across four different production platforms:Pressure Vessel Fabrication, Compressor Assembly, Scroll Shell Fabrication, Refrigeration Package Fabrication. This includes managing a team of five Quality Techs with the potential to add two more. This role reports to the Director of Operations.Direct interaction with customers, suppliers, venders, and other outside resources.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Must be experienced with ASME Code related to Section VIII and IX.Manage all code requirements and maintain our U, UM, and R stamps.Support all ASME code requirements including welding procedures, welding documentation, WPS, WPQ, PQR.Work directly with the ASME code compliance auditors which are on site multiple days each week.Support production of PED products produced and shipped globally from Bitzer US.CWI with experience in ASME applications and a specific knowledge in Boilers, Pressure Vessels and Low/High pressure piping.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:ASME and CWI experience and certification.Communication and team building skills. Ability to lead and develop the current Quality Staff and identify areas throughout the operation that need Quality enhancements. -Able to work with all levels of the team from hourly associates to the executive management team.
