In this position, you will accurately transfer, package, kit or assemble product and materials, both physically and logically, to fulfill orders, inventory, and load/unload trailers.Responsibilities:Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactionsPackage, kit and/or assemble orders and materialsPerform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as requiredParticipate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functionsLoad and unload inbound/outbound trailersEnsure all scanning is completed correctlyHelp train dock employees on new proceduresEnsure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeepingPerform picking and packing dutiesCheck for evidence of product or container damagePerforms housekeeping duties for assigned areaTrack supply levels and regularly submit purchasing recommendations.Contact vendors for pick-ups or returns.Comply with all safety and health regulations.Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PMSkills:N/AEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredSix months of related warehouse experience required (one year experience preferred)Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedAbility to input data into several WMS computer systemsMay be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line)Works overtime as assigned.
