Our client is looking for detail-oriented individuals for an entry-level position responsible for operating production equipment used in the cell sorting process.The $1,000 bonus is split into two payments- $500 received at the start of the assignment and $500 received after 6 months. Benefits will be discussed during the interview process.We are recruiting for a variety of client locations- please see shift availability below:- Windsor, WI (1st & 3rd shift)- Dekorra (Poynette), WI (2nd & 3rd shift)- Rio, WI (3rd shift)Responsibilities:- Maintain production operations of assigned cell sexing workstation- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain lab documentation- Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate such as but not limited to Fhil, Centrifuge/tubes table, Sample making, Dish room, Incoming quality control- Troubleshoot issues that arise and communicate those issues with appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, or support group)- Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment (relentless improvement and/or RIB cards)- All other duties as assignedWorking hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:- Basic math skills- Multi-tasking skills- Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest level of quality at all times- Strong communication skills including the ability to maintain professional verbal and written communications with co-workers and internal and external customers/vendors at all timesEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High school diploma or GED required, post-high school education or experience within a production laboratory setting is preferred- Valid driver's license required- Ability to lift/transfer 46 lbs. frequently- Ability to stand for long periods of time and monitor equipment/computer- Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard, and mouse to accomplish work tasks Apply via the apply button in the top right hand corner today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
