The Mechanical Technician is responsible for fabrication, assembly, debug, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical components of fuel cell systems. This role requires excellent mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills. The role also requires close interaction with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure any issues get communicated and resolved in a timely manner. This position will report to the Director of Mechanical Engineering.Responsibilities:? Ability to fabricate mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies using basic machine shop tools? Ability to weld aluminum, mild and stainless steel using MIG & TIG process? Ability to assemble and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems? Ability to debug and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems? Experience constructing and operating test stations used to test mechanical parts such as valves, pumps, fans, etc?
