Beginning of quality begins with a strong foundation of inbound inspection procedures. Inbound loads will be inspected in accordance with USDA standards. In addition, quality inspector will walk warehouse and our cold rooms various times throughout the day, inspecting the overall quality of ALL inventory in the warehouse. Quality inspector will also be in charge of various duties from inspecting warehouse conditions to filling out paperwork when Food Safety and Quality manager requires help or is absent.Responsibilities:Inspect all inbound produce shipments on arrival to ensure compliance with established USDA standards. Must be able to make quality determinations from defined specifications.Take photos and prepare quality reports for other departments.Address quality concerns with other departments, supervisors and managers.Be able to maintain and update company's inventory and its qualityDocument and communicate information and related quality control reports in accordance with standards, deadlines, and company requirements.Work with the buying team and sales team to problem-solve the best avenues for generating revenue on all items based on quality conditions.
