      Repair and maintain a variety of machinery equipment located within the main plant. Demonstrate a steady, upward progression of skills and ability to do increasingly difficult tasks, the abilities will include but not be limited to the following:Responsibilities:Assist with the efficient flow of product through the assigned area and the major repair and maintenance of all machinery in the assigned area.Work with seasonal employees in their day ? to ? day dutiesHandle minor personnel problems. Refer major problems to the Supervisor / Operation MangerIn the off season, will be involved in any number of maintenance activities including machine repair/overhaul, cleaning, building walkways and work platforms, and assisting in the installation of new processing equipment.Must possess a complete set of tools for industrial maintenance.Must have general knowledge of gas and arc welding, how to cut and thread pipe, bolt and thread sizes, how to fasten pulleys and sprockets on shafts and how to adjust conveyors.Experience with hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read precision instruments and blue prints Ability to order parts, communicate with the suppliers and service reps from equipment companies.Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.May perform other duties as assigned by the SupervisorAdhere to all Company policies and proceduresNotify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.Ability to fabricate equipment / ability to use basic shop mathWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PMSkills:Knowledge:-One year related experience and / or trainingLanguage Skills:-Ability to read, write and speak EnglishReasoning Ability:-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.TEAMWORK:-Through individual and team efforts, enthusiastically work toward the continuous improvement of his/her job, work area, department and company as a whole.
